RE-IMAGINING EDUCATION
MICRO-CONFERENCES
These half-day virtual Micro-Conferences emerged from the fertile soil of the first two Re-imagining Education Conferences to keep the spirit alive throughout the year. We sentipesamos (think-feel) that it is important to co-create transformative spaces of connection and solidarity and together re-imagine higher education through a diversity of perspectives and practices. We are constantly inviting new connections and deepening relationships that will transform higher education within and beyond academia.
These micro-conferences are half-day online experience held on Zoom with (loosely) the following proposals:
Playground: Spaces for embodied, creative, heart-opening exploration. These could be movement-based, skill-sharing, game playing, authentic relating etc.
Main Stage: A panel dialogue between, Universities, Ecoversities, organizations, and communities from all over the world that are Re-Imagining Education in their own way.
Re-imagining World Café: An emergent open space to connect and learn with other attendees at the Conference.
Dream Café: A space for people to deepen their clarity and find the missing pieces that are needed to enable them to transform their dreams into realities.

In addition to the Playground space, this time with two parallel sessions, Improv for Transformation and a Micro YES! Jam, the Main Stage and Re-imagining Cafe, we are introducing the Dream Café, serving as a space for people to deepen their clarity and find the missing pieces that are needed to enable them to transform their dreams into realities.
We invite you to participate in offering your wisdom and support and also invite submissions from people that have a project that is in the mid-late stage of the planning process of a project that they plan to launch sometime in the next 1-4 months. We ask that these proposals be grounded and practical and far beyond the initial ideation phase.
Our intention is to create a space to clearly communicate your vision/project to the wider community in order to invite feedback, express areas that you are looking for support (i.e. funding, collaborative partners, ideation), deepen your connection with others and open up possibilities for emergence and unexpected relationships to blossom.
